… to try these recipes
It’s a little too warm to turn on the oven, but as soon as it starts feeling like apples, falling leaves, and new notebooks, I want to try these granola bars, via Kitchen Stewardship.
I love tacos and would love to love kale because it scores high on nutritional value. But except for kale chips, I haven’t come across anything appealing. Maybe this one’s a winner. Kale & Corn Tacos, via Taste
… by the possibility of being bug resistant
If I’m on my patio after dusk, I sit surrounded by citronella candles, like an offering to the gods. But the mosquitoes love me so much, they’re still willing to brave the citronella fog. For all you fellow mosquito magnets who want to avoid Deet: All Natural Bug Repellents, via Kitchen Stewardship.
… by denim cutoffs and cowboy boots
Black, denim, and leather — how can you go wrong? I love the aura of this whole look — bracelets, slouchy bag, and scarf. Truthfully, it looks like she can’t decide if it’s hot or cold, but I like it.
